Angry Fire Windows update freezing at 0%

I have looked in the Micro$oft knowledge base and it tells me to uninstall a program called netsonic. I cannot find this program on my computer ANYWHERE. I am running an AMD 1.3GiG processor Elitegroups K7S5A 512 MG RAM 80GIG HD (primary new) 20GIG HD backup. I can update my Office XP without any problems.

I bet Netsonic is in fact on there - you will need a spyware checker to find it - such as Spybot S&D or Ad-Aware.

I have had this happen on my girlfriends PC. It would just freeze at 0% . So I told her to download Spybot Search and Destroy. So she did. Removed all Spyware. Now it works fine
