Will i get into trouble with Microsoft??
My sisters HD has taken a nose dive.
so im going over there this afternoon and I have a slave with XP on it and i was thinking can i just put the slave into her computer and run it no problems or is there some sort of programming that wont allow me to do this and me ending up with blocked OS or soemthing like that or am i being really paranoid?? thnx a lot folks |

Has it been activated? If not it will quit in 30 days. It will also notice that hardware has changed and might require contacting MS either online or thru landline.

Then that won't work. It will quit on your sisters PC after 30 days if not activated. Since it has already been activated it won't allow you to activate a 2nd time.

its already activated XP is installed and activated on both HD's
i sorted something out none the less |

You can move the OS from computer to computer all you want. But you can't have it on two different computers at the same time.
