screen savers dont work

hey everyone,

Im runnin winXP and my screensavers dont work anymore...they used to work...and ive tried exiting out of most programs....has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?? ive tried each screensaver and tried everything i could think of....thanks

Hi,

Have you tried to reinstall your video drivers? Have you scanned for viruses lately? Did you install any new software? Hope this helps.

yep...(nvidia 41.09)...yeah.....and to the last question..nothing that i think could affect the screen saver (some games, school software etc..) any other suggestions??

Have you done any system configuration changes prior to the problem?

i did use my tv as my monitor for a while, using Nview...that could be where the problem started, but i changed the properites back to my monitor, so i wouldnt know how that affected my screen savers. any suggestions??

I've had this happen on a windows 2000 system, but it was eventually fixed when I did a reinstall, so I'm not much help here.
