lately when i try to play games (Specifically an NES emulator, and Counter-Strike) the games run in slow motion, the characters move slow, everything is just in slow motion, this only happens a couple times a week and usually it can be fixed by resetting. unfortunatly i have reset 4 times and it still hasn't been fixed

I have experienced problems like this but only because my puter couldnt handle the graphics on the game, but according to you it works properly if you restart it a few times...Try making sure that your Screen reolution isnt too much for you pc or monitor to handle...other than that I cant think of anything else that would cause this problem, other than the application itself getting snagged on a glitch.
1 other guess...maybe you have a faulty stick of ram. HTH avx

What video card do you have? Also make sure you close any other programs. You may also want to scan for any viruses or spyware.

Hey, are you sure nothing is running in the background every so often such as a virus scan? If something is tying up your resources this kind of thing will happen, it will slow everything down.

A g200 is a pretty old video card, however back when I had a 1.2GHz T-Bird and G400 I never had any problems with NES emulators or Counterstrike, sounds to me like your hard-ware is probbably up to the challenge.

You may be straining the video card,it's adviseable to shut down all programs prior to playing a game, regardless of system.
The g200 has 8 megs of memory, the G400 has 16 or more megs of memory. |

For Counter-Strike you might want to invest in a better video card for better performance. Nvidia cards are great for HL.
