Is there some special trick to setting up a 56k modem? It works in win98SE, but not in XP Pro. It's a Conexant 56k v.90 RS56-PCI R6793-15

I don't know if it's compatible or not. How can I check? I haven't checked for newer drivers. Where could I find if they are available?
Also, the driver CD has drivers for win 3.x, 95, 98, NT, and 2000. I was under the impression that if it should work in NT & 2000, it should work in XP. |

Thanks. I guess I'll try the generic drivers. It seems as though my modem is one of those "off the wall" models. Just my luck...
