dino2d.dll can't be found
I am running windows xp and I am trying to run sonic cd on this os, however, it says that it could not find dino2d.dll. I tried copying it to a floppy on a different system and then I tried putting it on my system, but this will not work. I need this file in order to run the game but I can't find it anywhere on the net...

Okay, now it says that it can't be played on the specified MCI device... the device may be corrupt or not in the correct format.

My kids played Sonic on the computer for months. In December I upgraded their computer and installed larger drives. Sonic hasn't worked since. Same error you are getting. I looked all over the net and found a ton of people with the same problem. I have had XP Pro on their computer before and after so I don't know what changed but I haven't found any solution yet.

Yes, I have looked all over the net too and I have seen lots of people with the same problem too. I'm running windows xp home, but I don't know how you can run sonic on xp, period. It just doesn't seem to work.

I don't know if it has something to do with installing it after installing SP1 or not. Thats about the only difference we have from our original installation. I agree it is frustrating.
