Windows media player freezes my comp for a long time...
Hi there,
When I open windows media player and set it to play all my songs randomly (100+) Sometimes while its changing the song it freezes my whole computer for like 30 seconds or more... I can still do stuff, but it takes a really long time to react. Is it the files its trying to play? I haven't changed anything or downloaded new songs for it to play and its only been doing this since yesterday... HELP!? Thanks! Last edited by SlyGuy12; 02-04-2003 at 05:50 AM. |

Hi,
What version of Windows Media Player are you using? Have you tried reinstalling it? Have you installed any new hardware/software prior to this happening? HTH |

UM... I think its windows media player 9... (the one that comes with XP) and I did install some new visualizations for it come to think of it... and I don't know how to reinstall WMP.. how do you?
