Windows media player freezes my comp for a long time...

Hi there,
When I open windows media player and set it to play all my songs randomly (100+) Sometimes while its changing the song it freezes my whole computer for like 30 seconds or more... I can still do stuff, but it takes a really long time to react. Is it the files its trying to play? I haven't changed anything or downloaded new songs for it to play and its only been doing this since yesterday... HELP!? Thanks!

Hi,

What version of Windows Media Player are you using? Have you tried reinstalling it? Have you installed any new hardware/software prior to this happening? HTH
