what is CIDAEMON.EXE??
Hi all,
Does any1 know the file name CIDAEMON.EXE??? I tried to deleted it then it came right back.... How do I get rid of the file, any suggestions. please help.. thank you... |

It's the indexing service. It it supposed to make searches on your hard drive faster, but it isn't worth the trouble IMO. You can shut it off by typing "services.msc" in Start...Run and then disabling the indexing service.
