Defragmenting

HI all,
Is there any program out there that I can use to defrag my hard disk other than using the utility in windows? It's taking me forever to defrag my hard disk...

I use XP pro..

thanks!

I use Diskeeper. Works great and it's faster than the Windows one which is a version of Diskeeper. There are a few others that are good but none I like as well. You can check it out here.

Second the Diskeeper 7.0. Been using since upgrading to XP pro a couple months ago and I love it. Very quick and easy to use.

third for DisKeeper 7

it is such a good defrag program, can run in the background and you dont really notice its running, i defragged in XP defrag before going into Diskeeper to see the difference, and while XP said it was 100% defragged, Diskeeper said it was only 68% defragged.

Diskeeper is the way to go!!

Why would you bother paying for Diskeeper when a FREE version is available. You have to create a profile but it's free. Diskeeper Lite.

Because the free version does have all the features of the paid for version. But if you don't need or want the features the free version would be a good choice.

I'm Not knocking Diskeeper, as I've never used it, and just now checked out their site, but I think I'll stay with Norton Utilities. I get the whole suite for only a couple dollars more than Diskeeper. (much less when I buy OEM versions)
