Question Need help decompressing some files

Hello,
I downloaded some files and I cant figure out how to extract the files. ITs not winzip and the icons just look like a little small, white windows screen(not the windows logo). When I click on it, the command prompt box comes up for a second and then disappears and nothing happens. Anybody know of a decompression tool to extract the files?
Thanks,
Bigron

Those files should be self-extracting. Try running them from a command prompt window. Also you could try right clicking them and extrating the files with Winzip (www.winzip.com). Other alternatives are WinRAR (www.rarsoft.com) or Winace (www.winace.com).

Install one of the above, right click the file and select "Extract to..." and specify the target folder.
