need help changing xp desktop
hi,
i'm currently using xp home edition, was installed when i got the pc. problem is everything acts as a hyperlink on the desktop and when i explore my folders. whenever i click something once it lanuches, it's also underlined as a link. is there any way to stop this and go back to the way win2000 does it, with double clicks? Thank you. |

Open a folder, any folder...My Computer will do...and go to the top, click on Tools then Folder Options. On the General tab there will be the option to select either single-click or double-click to open an item. Choose double-click, then OK and you should be good to go.
