Dont know if this belongs here...
I have 4 drives in my system 2 hdd, a cd rom, and cd rw. When I go into My Computer the rw doesnt show up on the list of drives. I can use it though as I have burnt cd's and it shows up in the drop down menu. Any idea's why this is happening?

I'M not sure why it does that but you can try to remove them from the device manager and then restart the computer and it might put them back to CD-RW Drive. also you can check for firmware update for the cd-rom drives.
The cause may be related to the burnning software drivers just a thought. edge345 |

It could be in the wrong jumper...try to switch the jumper of master to slave and vice versa.
