Outlook 2000 won't send/receive...Help!
Outlook 2000 - Internet mail only
Getting error message "cannot create e-mail because a location to send/receive messages could not be found. To add a location, click tools menu, click services , then click the delivery tab", which doesn't make sense anyway. there is no services tab under tools menu. However, I've verified that my accounts are set up correctly (under tool, accounts...or tools, options, mail delivery, accounts). They are set up as they always have been and exactly as they are in Outlook Express, which is working fine. My internet connection is fine as well. I've run the repair program and uninstalled/installed to no avail. At this point I'm baffled, and the Microsoft Knowledge Base has nothing on this issue. Any ideas? What am I missing? This semmed to happen out of nowhere. Gab |

if you have any virus software running that could be causing the problem. i had an issue similar to this on my computer.

Fixed - I exported all my folders to .cvs files, deleted my .pst file, and Outlook started working fine. Corrupted file perhaps?
I then imported all my personal files back into Outlook. Thanks for all suggestions! |
