Hey,
I ran 3dmark on my system a little while ago. got a lousy 5999, but i blame that on the gf2 mx400. So i decided to update the drivers. I downloaded the newest one's from nvidia, and then ram 3dmark again and got 5720. whats the deal? if anything, shouldnt the new drivers have raised my score?? Thanks |

New drivers does not mean more speed. but a more stable driver yes some times it will produce less speed with more stabilaty.
Lets say your system stuttered at some point doing the 3dmark test and now the new driver fixes the stuttering but lowers the score to make the system more stable. You can always uninstall the new drivers and reinstall the older driver, check the readme file and see if the fixes in the driver fixes any issues with your setup. Hope this helps some. edge345 |

You may need to change some of the settings for your display and reinstall DirectX. Your numbers should come back up to at least where they were, hopefully they will be a little better.
