classfactory divx question

when i run a divx file, the message "classfactory cannot supply requested class" appears. i'm running winxp pro. why is this happening? how can i fix this?

btw. i tried using another player (divx player and not the media player). it still won't work.

Try and install DirectX9.
I found this in this form while searching for your problem.

If not then try to reinstall a newer version of divx here....
