First, Geocities doesn't allow for outside linking, so nobody is seeing your error box.
Second, how did you go about "Adjusting your installation"? I'm not quite sure what that means.
If you meant that it was installed, and now you want to take some bits out, there's a definitive way of doing that.
Need more info.

I just wanted to remove the plus games that comes with Win XP plus

I tried using the CD-rom to get to the add/remove in win xp plus but I get this error box it says

"Error 1723: There is a problem with the Windows Installer package a dll required for this installer to complete could not be run. Contact your support personal or package vender"

then click ok then thats it

But I do like how it say a dll requiered could not be run

I would be nice if they would tell witch dll

OK, now it makes more sense, thankyou.
Here's what I'd do. I would try to reinstall the complete Plus! package, then uninstall what you don't want. You'll probably have to do this under Administrator, and not even a superuser account.
If you can't reinstall it, then you'll have to remove it from the system manually, and then reinstall.
If that fails, post back, and we'll try another tactic.
