I did a quick check with google, and this is what I came up with.. maybe you dont have the latest drivers. Its like the 13th one down from the top, try dling that and tell us how it goes

Its a real good trick, whenever you get an error msg, just copy down the error "code" I guess you could call it, and do a seach on it using google or another metasearch engine...10/1 odds are someone else has had the same problem as you.

Since olivercloseov is running Win98, he probably doesn't want to be installing Windows NT code!!!

First, you ARE running an Epson 980 printer???

And if so, run MSCONFIG > Startup tab and see if there are any Espson Related programs starting (there generally are, and are not required). UNselect them and then see if you continue to get the error.

I have no idea what you are refering to!!

1. oliverclosov is running Windows 98
2. The link above is pointing to files in a server directory called /pub/internet/drivers/Epson980/winnt/DISK7/WINNT40

To me, this seems to indicate that the driver files are meant for Windows NT.

?????
