Puuting Windows XP on my dads pc

Hi there, i've got a copy on windows xp and i want to put it on my dads PC but it keeps asking for an activation code. Is there a way round this. I think its a bit silly if i have to buy a windows xp for each computer. Thanks for your help.

You will have to buy another copy of XP as it is illegal to do what you are asking and please read the FAQ

No M$ requires a license for each computer. You can save quite a bit by buying an oem copy along with the next hardware you buy.
