Win Explorer not searching all directories
On our Exchange Server, I am unable to do a search on size on all subdirectories of the mbx directory. Two months ago, I was, but now, only about 5 subdirectories are being searched out of about 45.
If I do a general search, like on Inbox, then it will search all folders. Has anyone else experienced this problem? |

Are you starting your search from the root of C drive?

I'm actually starting from M:\.
This is the location of our Exchange folders. I can do a search on all folders if I look for a file, but only a few when searching by date or by size. This has only started happening recently. Early in January, I was able to do a full search on size, but not now. |

Did you check to see if any options have changed under the "Advanced" tab?
Might any of your coworkers changed the attributes of some of the folders? Is the "include subfolders" box unchecked when you've been searching by date? Interesting case: I've never heard of any trouble with file searches - but I'll check back tomorrow & take a look around if no answer has popped up yet. . . . Gary |

Thanks Gary,
The two others that have access don't know how to make the change on the attributes. Subfolders box is checked. I just tried getting in through terminal server and same problem. Randy |
