jump to Windows2000 from XP
Hi
I read a lot about hating XP .. i Heard things like .. it is unstable and can not support drivers properly.. and a lot like these from my friends over an year or so. I think Xp got improved a lot in this one year by its Dynamic Upgrading Capacity. Until yesterday i never used to beleive my friends openions.. I had some problem with Internet explorer and Windows explorer, so i reinstalled my windows XP(upgrade option) as i tried many services packages from Microsoft. Now I am unable to logon to internet using AOL. AOL people say that this is because of missing DUN (dail up network) files. the error message i am getting here is "windows networking is not properly installed". and i was told by AOL people that they dont have any idea how to get these files for XP( i think they have some answers for the same problem on other OS). So now i am thinking of jumping to Windows 2000. I just need some suggestion from u.. how i can jump to 2000 with out loosing the 12G of data I have. Ultra |
