Questions about WinXP/NAV 2003

I've been using WinXP Pro and NAV 2003 only a short time so I don't know much about either one. I noticed tonight that my recycle bin has over 1,000 items in it (1031 to be exact) and those files are being protected by Norton. Nearly 100 of those files in the recycle bin have today's date on them. Since I haven't put anything in the recycle bin yet, where did those 1031 files come from and why is NAV protecting them? Why would Norton protect something I threw away, and what is loading up my recycle bin?

Thanks, Crank

This thread explains how to delete the protected files and turn off Norton protection, if so desired.

Personally, I never install anything from the SystemWorks package, just the AV... anything else seems to cause more trouble than its worth.

Same here with the works..I think it just works you over...trying to fix all that junk. The AV works nice sitting there unobtrusively by itself. Sit Norton...down boy..sit sit..

Cool

Norton's 2003 and XP may have some problems.
