Lightbulb Just occured to me

ok so this occured to me i HATE xp.... : yesterday while i was posting a response for a thread on re-instaling windows xp...... the command i listed on that thread also works with windows 2000 anyone think i could install windows 2000 OVER xp pro? without haveing to wipe it?

No you can't install 2000 over the top of XP. You'll have to format first. Unless your XP install is un upgrade from 2000 and you saved the backup files, if so then you can uninstall XP. I have never seen this actually work very well however. Something always causes problems much like upgrades never work as well as a clean install.
