Windows delay in starting VMM..

On my new system, I had trouble loading the video drivers the first time, now I get "Open of C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VMM32\VMM.VXD failed"

There is a pretty long delay and Windows (98) loads okay.
How can I get rid of this?

New system?
As in "under warranty"?

Take it back to the shop.

Hi c-hoppe,

Run msconfig and uncheck the lines that contain VMM.VXD or VMM32.VXD from the Autoexec.bat file.
