A while ago there was a thread that included pictures of everyone's desketop. . .someone had an XP desktop and the Start bar at the bottom of the screen was clear, you could see through it to the background photo. I have recently installed XP and wanted to know if anyone can tell me how to perform this little trick, also are there any other neat things you can tweak a desktop to do on XP?
Thanks in Advance, Alex |

Do you mean HIDING the TASK BAR? If so, it's easy, just right Click START then PROPERTIES then TASK BAR then check mark on AUTO HIDE THE TASK BAR.

The transparancy of the Task Bar can be set with Tweak XP.

Not important - okay, where can I get this Tweak XP program?
fatboyjim - that link to virtual plastic has helped, I have already downloaded a bunch of new icons and such, but still can't find anything detailing how to make the bar clear. But I'll keep looking... Thanks again gerberdude |

Ooooh, thanks for the help guys, but I just found a program that would do it on that virtual plastic website. It's called Tclock2. It has that and a bunch of other featrues for screwing with the icons and stuff. . . here's the link in case you're interested. http://home.inreach.com/2tone/tclock2/tclock2.htm thanks again for your help!
