cant delete corrupt file

I downloaded the doom3 demo and then decided to delete it. But it says a file is corrupted and unreadable. Its not really causing any problems I guess but I want it off of my system. Its just one little file but it wont go away. How do I get rid of it? I am on XP home btw.

Hi ElChupa,

I've heard some horror stories about that demo: most having viruses attached... Try running a virus scan to double check. Then, try going to DOS (command, I think, for XP??) and deleting it from there.

HTH

Even if I did get a virus it was worth it, heh. It looked amazing.

I dont know anything about DOS, soooo. For the moment, I just stuck the folder somewhere I will never have to see it.
