Chkdsk runs automatically

Friday I was playing BF1942 and when I exited out of the game the system restarted. Since then every time I start up my pc Check Disc runs. I have XP pro and a WD 120 GB hard drive with 2 partitions, C=10GB & F=110GB. I ran my antivirus program and it found nothing. I ran ad aware and it found nothing. I can defrag my C drive but when I try to defrag F this message pops up.
"Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume : (F: ). Please run Chkdsk /f."
I checked my Scheduled Tasks and it is blank. Then I run chkdsk and try to defrag and it says the same thing. What is causing this and how do I fix this. tia
