xp .SIF file corrupt of missing?

Okay, I have set up the new system and everything boots up correctly and goes to the 6 xp floppy disketts. All of the disks load and then the screen comes on to format the hard drive. I have done that and everything works correctly until xp setup gets out of the format screen. The next screen says it will install the OS, press enter.
Once I hit enter the error message:

.SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing.

Value 0 on the line in section Source Disks Files with Key "SP1.cab."

Setup will not continue. press f3 to exit.

Is this error because one of the floppy 6 floppy disks is not correct, the hard drive is bad or is it something wrong with the XP OS cd? any help would be appreciated. Thank you all

Cool Doooh!

Okay I admit it. I did not read the fine print on the boot download. There were two. One xp and one xp service pack 1. As I was re-reading the OS package, I noticed the SP-1 on the package that I own. I had used the wrong one. Thanks to those who read my message. Wish I could solve all the problems this easy. Thanks again guys.

Good Luck!

I'm sure you know the XP CD is bootable. I am guessing that the system you are working is not capable of booting from the CDROM. If it is you don't need the floppies.
