Hello and how is it going? My name is carlos. I'm not a computer literate, just a begginer, I know a couple things and a bit of HTML, I've been experiencing a problem, for about a week and I really don't know what it is, I was wondering if anyone could help me. Whenever I try to access internet explorer, my computer, control panel, and others. A small window appears saying :
IEHelper Failure sinking events from IWebBrowser2 Ok It will only allow you to work on the windows if you press ok, and for instance when working on internet explorer, it tells you that internet explorer has encounter problems and needs to be shut down. I really dont know what this is, it started happening like I said about a week ago. I would really appreciate it if someone could please help me out. Thanks for all the help and support, sincerely, Carlos I would appreciate it if people could send suggestions or answers. Thanks once again. |

I haven't seen the problem but I've heard of it. Most people recommend the following:
In IE goto - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - and "uncheck" the box for 3rd party web browsers extensions. That seems a little drastic to me, although it apparently works. I have seen it tied to a program called NetPal that you could have picked up around the web. If it were me I would download and run Spybot and see if it is related to some spyware or something. If I couldn't see what was happening I would delete the IEHelper.dll file. My machines don't have it anyway and never have. |
