file Association
currentlyfor .avi and mpegs winamp plays them....and it stinx at it so how do I change it so when I click the file it opens windowsmedia player.
I know open as but I want to change it so i dont have to.

Check to see your winamp for options to associate with the video files (its under Preferences). If so unselect avi and mpeg associations with winamp. Then do open with and point it to Windows Media Player (checking the "always use ..." box).
The issue might be that everytime you use winamp it reassociates your vid files with winamp. |

Open Explorer, find an .avi and hold down the SHIFT key, Right click, and select Open With. Choose WMP, put a tick in the "Always use...".
Do the same with an .mpg |
