Difference between OEM and retail OS's

What is the difference between an OEM OS, and a retail OS? Is something not included, or is it just a difference in packaging?

Thanks for your help.

Packaging is prettier with retail OS and with OEM OS you get limited technical support (Just the upgrades from the internet). With OEM OS usually comes with a new computer or you have to buy a piece of hardware along with it.
