Good back up software?

Looking for good third party Back Up software to run with XP Pro. The included back up software that comes with XP Pro does not seem to offer much flexibility with regard to compression, etc. Any recommendations?

Hi LawyerRon,

What about using a drive image program like Ghost or Drive Image?

They want to run routine backups of certain directories. They will be backing up to a mapped drive on a server running Server 2000 OS.

Send a message via MSN to doctorgonzo
I use WinRAR from the command line. My setup is essentially the same: daily backups of directories to another drive. It works well enough for me.

Thanks Dr. G, but I think we need something more user friendly for these folks; something that's very user friendly with a few mouse clicks.

Hi LawyerRon
Try http://www.novastor.com/
Its more "intelligent" and customizable than most I've seen.
This would be the product I use and recommend.. http://www.no-panic.com/backup/n_backup.html
