Difference in Win98 discs

Hello,
I am just curious, I have a Windows 98 disc that I purchased new. It has a hologram Microsoft and other nifty numbers. I also have a Win 98 disc that I inherited inside a discarded cdrom. It is silver with black writing. They are both second edition, but I am curious if there are any differences. When I need a disc I don't really discriminate, I just grab a disc.
Are there updated files on the newer one or is a Win 98se disc, a Win 98se disc???
Just wondering.
Thanks

One is OEM and the other with the black letters is retail.

Thanks
Curious then, where does the "has detected the driver on your system is newer than the one on the disc" or whatever, how can a machine that isn't connected to the 'net for Win update have a "newer" driver than the disc, it seems like it's all coming off the disc...
I'm thinkin' too much...

The newer driver could be from installing the hardware with the manufactures disc that came with the hardware.
