Something funky?

Here's a list of the processes running on my computer. Can someone tell me if anything is out of line?

explorer
ati launchpad
realplay
netscp
qttask
mediadet
apvxdwin
idetool
directcd
evlstnr
wz2qkpick
remind32
hpcron
ctnotify
ati ptaxx
systray
winampa
rnaapp
desk98
ctmix32

See anything there that might cause a conflict with FreeCell or might be something that I do not want / need on my computer?

Thanks,

tranman

There isn't anything there that is not normal for the stuff installed on your computer, but some of these you can disable (without effecting the program) to improve start-up and performance. Just go Start>Run> and type MSCONFIG and then uncheck

winampa
directcd
idetool
qttask
mediadet
ati launchpad
realplay

Realplay will have to be turned off inside the program, or it will put another entry in msconfig.
You'll probably have to do the same in Quicktime to get rid of qttask.
What you don't need is all of them, except Explorer and systray. Turn them all off, then go back and turn on the ones you absolutely need, such as a calendar/reminder type.
The only thing that might affect Freecell, is the video drivers. All the Ati stuff can be disabled. The video card will still use the drivers you have installed, without loading all the taskbar crap.
