Windows Media Player

If I have deleted files that Mplayer needs to run, is there anyway that I can get them back?

Reinstalling it would be one option.

Did you empty your recycle bin? If not, just restore the files.

[edit]: What version, by the way?

Hi Force, I'm using WinXP. Here is the error messages I get when I try playing a music cd with either player.

I'm wondering if I could just unplug my CD/RW, boot up, reconnect, boot up, and let windows reinstall the software. Just wonder if that would get it playing CDs again.

Wouldn't hurt.

Also, have you checked your device manager for conflicts?
