Exclamation Reformatting Advice

I've decided to reformat my hard drive. Last time I did this I know I read advice to put Windows CAB files on, but when I tried to it said something like "insufficient space." I know I then read something about getting around this but I can't find it now.

Any help much appreciated! Also, any general advice or tips on reformatting appreciated too. It all went generally ok last time but I've had quite a few errors since, and blue screens of death.

Thanks in advance,
Clara

Hi: If you are using Win.98 or Win Me just use the start up floppy and at the A> prompt type "format C:/s" (without the quotation marks) The /s tells it to make the disk bootable. You will get a warning that this will erase all data on the drive, press Y and you are good for go. If you are using Win.XP just boot from the CD and XP will format for you.
