Compaq SoftPaq 9477 - PCMech Forums

FZWG Member (10 bit) Join Date: Jan 2001 Posts: 566	Compaq SoftPaq 9477 Compaq Presario 5673 which previously had W98 has wiped out hard drive. Previously had a PRI DOS partition C:, and an EXT DOS partition D:. The BIOS is accessible, but with no helpful options to solve problem. A Quick Restore CD is available, but dies at a blue screen. A SoftPak9477 might be necessary to create a Compaq bootdisk, but this SoftPaq only wants to create a bootdisk in drive D:, vs. drive A:. Anyone had any successful experience downloading and executing SoftPak 9477? Any suggestions as to how to get this PC up and running? Share Share this post on Digg Del.icio.us Technorati Twitter
