Question Problem when XP goes to Idle

You can look at my signature to see my system specs, but there is a problem when my comp goes into the XP Idle screen (lack of better name for it), its the one that you can enter a password or select which user for a session. It flickers consistently about every 5 minutes. I have no idea why and the only programs that are constantly running are AIM and NAV (norton anti-virus). The flicker simply flashes the desktop and then goes back to the login screen.

If anyone knows anything about this, I would love some input or a possible cause and solution. Thanks.

I would guess either NAV or AIM is causing it...probably AIM, refreshing itself every few minutes.

Have you got TweakUI on that system, and is it set to log in automatically?
Do you have more than one user?
Is "Fast user switching" enabled?
Have you turned off any un-needed services?

I do have TweakUI installed, but I don't know about the login thing.
I don't have more than one user. I don't know where to look to see if "Fast user switching" is enabled. And I am fairly certain that I don't have any services running.
