Windows 2000 Blue Screen/Reboot

I have a machine that gets to the Windows 2000 splash screen(bar completes across bottom) and then a blue screen flashes up so quickly that it cannot be read. I have looked at it many times and cannot discern it's contents. I have tried to both pause or break.

I have tried to boot into safe mode and get the same results.
I have removed/reinstalled all hardware.I have also reset the bios to defaults. I have attempted both fast & manual repair with no luck. On the manual repair, the OS is not found. We do not have an "Emergency Disk".

I have reloaded the Win2K OS in a new folder(WINNT2) and can now boot the machine. I would really like to attempt to save the orginal config if possible. The disc contents appear to be intact.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks-
DAVID
