WinXP Design/Mem Usage

Is it true that if you use the destinctive blue and green bubble like design of Windows XP, it uses more RAM then if you take it back to the classic Win98 style?

So if I were to change my style back to classic windows, I might getter better benchmarks, or better performance?

You will have better navigation and not laggy navigation. You wont see any improvements in benchmarks or performance . Just smoother navigation and less work on the video card.
