Help! Microsoft Word Help...
I am trying to simply set a background in Microsoft Word. I have done this a thousand times, but for some reason it now won’t let me select a jpeg as a background. I go to VIEW, select a texture, select a jpeg from a folder and it won’t display. Also, I can’t even select a background color. I go to VIEW and select one of the color choices and nothing happens. Someone please help/ explain!!!

Have you ALWAYS used a JPEG or JPG for a background?

Hi sleepypost,
Background colors and pictures are only visible when you set your document to "Web View". They are not visible in the "Print Layout" mode in Word '97 and 2000 and "Print View" in Office XP. Try changing your page view setting and see what happens. |
