Outlook Express and XP

Hi All

After installing XP as an update, I have lost all of my Emails in outlook. I have kept all my address book and other settings, just I have lost all of my Emails.

Is there any reason for this? Is there anyway to get them back?

I didnt save any as I was simply updating, I didnt think I would have to replace any as they would all be there when the install was complete.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Karl

Have you tried the import utility? Your posts header says Outlook Express, but the post itself says Outlook. Windows XP comes with either of those depending on whether XP is the home or Pro edition.

From the Outlook Express menu select Tools >Options >Maintenance and click the StoreFolder button. You will see a dialog with the name of the directory where your mail files are stored. Open that directory ands see if your mail is still there. They will have a .DBX suffix.

Wink OOPS

My bad Spyda. Outlook comes with only certain brands of computer. It is part of Office 2002 XP that some computer
manufacturers such as Dell have as an upgrade option.
