fatal exception errors

hi:

win98se running on a network, everything seems fine until it begins to load office trend antivirus software, then get a fatal exception error every time, however the exception number is always different. will continue to load after that however the antivirus is not running, however the machine sounds like it is always running and takes forever to do any process.

my ram reports 64megs upon startup however a common problem with f.e.e. is bad ram,

if my ram is bad would it report it at the bios stage.

thanks

No...at boot up it's only counting how much RAM is installed in your system, it's not testing the RAM.

Try booting into Safe Mode (hit and hold the Shift key after the first boot screen switches to the next one)...Himem will test of the RAM.

Or you could go here and download DocMemory to test your RAM.
