Hi,
Is it possible to design your own icon and use that for a certain program I'd like? If so how would I go about doing this? Thanks, |

Get any decent editor, create what you want in the specific size, and you should be done. Check out Microangelo: http://www.impactsoft.com/

if you cant get your hands on any icon designer you can just use MS Paint
make the image size 32 X 32 Pixels (Image >> Attributes)Pixels Draw what you want and save it as *.ico and you got your very own icon |

Thanks a lot,
One more thing; Would it be possible to change the icon of the actual program file and not just the shortcut to it? Thanks, |

If it already has a special icon other than the stadard exe icon, then yes. Off the top of my head, I'm not quite sure how it can be done, though.
btw, I like using microangelo as a cursor and icon maker. You can get it from www.zdnet.com
