Maintenance Progs

This has probably been posted/asked a thousand times, but I can't find any threads for it, so I'll make one.

What are the best maintenace/cleanup programs for Windows XP?

I currently use Norton Cleansweep. Anything that can compliment it or anything better?

Thanks

I would get rid of Norton Cleansweep as it is crappy in it's operation and some of it's features can really screw-up you computer.
All you really need outside of the built in tools is Spybot Search and Destroy and regcleaner, both of which are free.

Thanks for the responses. I did a google search for regcleaner and got hundreds of matches. is the one you referred to found at www.jv16.org ?

And is SpyBot Search and Destroy better than my purchased copy of AdAware6?

Cool

A lot of us run both AdAware and Spybot. They seem to find different things. Does make one wonder just what exactly is spyware though.

Adaware 6, Spybot, and RegClean from jv16 are the 3 I use.

I like Regseeker, System Mechanic, and Spybot I like to see what a program is actually cleaning.
