something gone wrong!!!

this evening i turned on my computer an its telling me my h-drive is almost full. i had about 7.50GB used out of 30GB. i had a virus called back door i followed instructions on how to get ride of it an everything was good until know if thats what might have something to do with it i'm running an virus check know. any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

no virus

i have no virus
i'm running win 2000 (all updates)
norton's 2002
30 GB h-drive
everything else running good

i found the filr that ate up all the h-drive but not sure where it is or how it happen the file is
\winnt\temp\glc1c.tmp
anyone have a clue!

Http://www.trendmicro.com free online virus scanner..scan your system again..wouldn't hurt..

Remove anything that is inside the \temp folder.

I was going to suggest going into MyComputer, right clicking on the drive in question and running disk cleanup, then run the disk check that will schedule itself at next boot. I'm pretty sure that would have caught that temp file on the disk cleanup..

try a programs like eraser...use it to clean up alll your unused space.once installed,right click the drive/partiton and select erase un used space.
make sure u chnage the number of times it re-writes on a single space.if not you could be waiting very VERY long.i suggest 1 one will do it.
