W2K, start menu black strip

Hello,

I had reformatted my computer and re-installed W2K.. it all came up fine.. one thing that is bugging me.. is when I click on the start button, and where it is supposed to say "Windows 2000 Professional" instead there is a black strip.. I havent experienced any problems with it running.. but was wondering if there is a problem what could it be and how would I resolve it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Joe

Hello Joe1974,

Make sure you have the correct video card drivers installed, and install the latest ones.
