diablo II/Win XP
Running Win XP Home... I had Diablo II installed and it ran fine, then for some reason it got uninstalled and now When I reinstalled it and I go to play it, the screen goes dark for a second and then the desktop reappears and no game??? any ideas?

same here might need updates for that game for either the video driver or the game itself chck out the games website or do a search in the game forum.
I am not much into games or heavy graphics so it didnt bother that it does that good luck |

may be a stupid question but have you tried running it in compatibility mode yet?

strange thing, I got it to work by installing it, then using 1.09D patch before trying to run it and now it is working. Thanks. By the way it would not work in the compatibility mode.

Well I'm confused again, Diablo II is working but now I'm getting problems with some other games when I try to install them. Any ideas? What does the "system restore" do and should I use it? Is there the system file checker like on '98???
