In control panel I click on the system icon and when it pops up I have a picture from the pc manufacturer in the bottom left hand corner. How do I change or delete this picture. I am pretty certain it will be a registry setting.

Modify oemlogo.bmp in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
You can also change the text by the side by modifying oeminfo.inf in the same folder. |

That should be oeminfo.ini not .inf by the way
But yes just modify the oemlogo.bmp to change the picture and oeminfo.ini for the model number and support information etc Full instructions here http://www.virtualplastic.org/html/logo_tab.html Thanks, Jim |

You have to make them then!
The instructions on the link given above tells you what size to make the pictures (you'd need a better program than MSPaint to be able to set that) Paint Shop Pro perhaps? Jim |
