Question deleting an OS

How do I delete the whole operating system and everything i installed so i can start over from scratch in the BIOS?

You can also use a zero fill utility to zero out the hard drive.

can't i just reinstall the os by booting through the cd-rom after the BIOS?

If you're wanting to reformat/reinstall XP the answer is, yes, you can boot from, and do all the reformatting/reinstalling using the XP CD. All you need to do in the BIOS is make sure the CD drive is the first drive accessed during the boot process. After that, just read each screen as it comes up and take your time...although if you screw something up all you have to do is start over.
