Usb 2.0

I am running XP pro final edition. I am told that in order to be able to use USB 2.0 i need to install SP1? is there somewhere i can check (device manager, etc.) to find out which USB my OS is handling? thanks.

That is true.
USB must use SP1 installed in your pc.
There is no other way to solve it.

I used USB 2.0 before SP1 came out. I just used the drivers that came with my USB PCI card. Unless you have it builtin to mobo that no drivers are available for it should work just fine. But SP1 is a good idea never the less.
